Julio Marin is simply a dude who said “yes” to Jesus Christ. After encountering God and surrendering his life, he walked away from a career in the world to follow a calling he didn’t fully understand—only that it would cost everything and be worth it. With no formal ministry training, he began preaching Christ at skateparks, beaches and trail heads, while discipling and mentoring young people.

Over the years, whether as a full-time pastor, missionary to the Japanese, or action sports evangelist and disciple maker, Julio has learned: God doesn’t need your resume or your talents—He just wants your obedience. From Puerto Rico to California and even Japan, from surfing, skating, biking and snowboarding the nations to sharing Christ wherever he goes and with whomever he’s with, Julio has followed wherever God leads, trusting that every thrill and every trial is part of God’s bigger story of redemption for his life and that of all others.

Now with Ride Nature, he continues to use bikes, skateboards, surfboards, and snowboards—NOT to build a platform, but to lay one down, so Jesus can be lifted up.
