THE REALITY

Kazakhstan is a diverse and rapidly changing nation in Central Asia, where Islamic tradition, post-Soviet identity, and modern culture collide.

Though officially secular, Islam is deeply embedded in the culture, and those who follow Jesus, especially converts, often face rejection and persecution. With over 70% of the population unreached, the need for relational and creative Gospel engagement is needed.

In cities like Almaty and Astana, skateboarding, snowboarding, and BMX are growing with enthusiasts desiring a connection to something meaningful.

These action sports provide more than just a hobby, they truly offer the ability to build trust and community, while sharing the hope of the Gospel. In a place where faith conversations must happen through relationship, action sports open doors

things can.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45

Pray with us

Japan faces several social crises. From youth suicide and isolation to an aging population and natural disaster threats. Pray that Christian ministries will gain favor and be able to serve vulnerable people, especially through nursing homes, hospices, and support for at-risk youth.

Pray for spiritual breakthrough amid strong religious syncretism. Ancient spiritual powers rooted in Shinto and Buddhist traditions promote spiritual indifference and disbelief in a Creator God. Ask God to remove the spirit of deception and open Japanese hearts to the reality of Jesus.

Pray for a unified, mission-focused Church. With many villages and cities having no church or very small ones, pray for pastors to equip leaders, plant churches in remote areas, and creatively reach the lost. Ask God to bring unity across denominations and for Japanese believers to boldly share the Gospel.
