MOVEMENT SD

From the beginning of time, there’s been a movement. A movement of God — not distant or static, but deeply personal and powerfully active.

God First moved.

He created the world with purpose. He made us — not by accident — but in His image, to walk in perfect relationship with Him. But humanity rejected His way. We chose to move in our own direction. That’s what the Bible calls sin — the decision to go our own way instead of God’s. That movement away from Him brought brokenness, pain, and separation.

But the story doesn’t end there.

God didn’t stay still. He moved toward us — in the person of Jesus Christ.

Jesus entered our world, lived the perfect life we couldn’t, and died the death we deserved — taking our sin on Himself. But death couldn’t hold Him. He rose from the grave, defeating sin, shame, and death forever. This is the ultimate act of love and movement: God coming toward us to bring us home.

Now the invitation is clear:

Join the Movement.

Not a religion.
Not a list of rules.
But a relationship.

A restored connection with the God who made you, knows you, and loves you.

By trusting in Jesus — believing that His death and resurrection was for you — you’re not only forgiven, you’re set in motion. Your life is no longer aimless. You’re part of a greater movement: God's mission to restore and redeem the world.

You are made to move with Him — from death to life, from darkness to light, from fear to freedom.

“In Him we live and move and have our being.”

– Acts 17:28

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

– 2 Corinthians 5:17

ABOUT THE EVENT

Through the ACTA conference we are stoked to partner alongside the Movement gathering with the hope and desire to see an evangelistic revival take place - an evening of evangelism and seeking God for revival in San Diego county. The event will be led by worship teams lifting up the name of Jesus in public worship and prayer. There will be gospel presentations with an altar call. Throughout the night there will also be ministry tents, teams available for prayer and counseling, and a baptismal for anyone desiring to be baptized.
