Workshop Vision

Dear Workshop Leaders,

With the goal of gathering existing action sports leaders and equipping a new generation of leadership, the heart of A Call to Action is rooted in a simple conviction: the Church doesn’t need more spectators — it needs activated, equipped, and faithful leaders who will carry the Gospel into every corner of culture. These workshops exist to serve that vision.

This isn’t about one-way teaching or perfect presentations. It’s about real conversations, practical tools, and Holy Spirit-led encouragement that equip leaders to return to their communities with clarity, courage, and conviction. Whether the topic is discipleship, financial sustainability, media, marriage, addiction, or international missions — each workshop is designed to:

  • Inspire bold faith

  • Equip with real tools and insight

  • Invite honest dialogue and Spirit-led response

We believe transformation happens when truth and authenticity collide — and that’s what these sessions are built for. We will be offering 8 different workshops with two session times as attendees will have to make the tough decision as to which session they want to sit in on. One of the themes that we have always embraced with Ride Nature is, “For the One”. While we’re praying that each workshop will be filled with individuals that are stoked to have leaders pour into them, we believe that if there is just one person’s life that is moved, changed, and inspired it is absolutely worth it.

One of the things that we are also super excited about with this gathering is the vision to create content and media that we’ll be able to continue to use to equip and mobilize leaders. We will be launching a “Call to Action” YouTube channel and podcast where we’ll film and edit to share the main session messages and several of the workshops as well as each of the workshops will have the audio recorded and whose will all be turned into podcast episodes.

Below is a breakdown of the structure for how we hope each of the workshops will be led. Basic overview would be 50-60% monologue with each leader speaking and sharing and 40-50% dialogue with an open format for conversations and discussion. The hope is that only the first part of the workshop is what is turned into a podcast so each workshop leader will have to keep that in mind with starting the topic and landing the plane with some closure before jumping into a group discussion. The hope is also that the second half of the workshop the leaders will help to “facilitate” a group conversation about the issues within that topic, needs, obstacles, problems people have faced, etc. We’ll keep recording through this whole time in case there are some golden nuggets in there but our hope is that the workshop leaders can bring inspiration and encouragement through their years of experience and wisdom.

Please feel free to share any feedback, suggestions, advice, etc. We are so grateful for you and couldn’t do this without you! Thank you for being a part of this!

  • Ground the session in story and shared purpose.

0:15-0:35/0:40 // Workshop Topic Training

  • Deliver rich, practical content rooted in lived experience and biblical truth.

  • Include stories, challenges, and wins.

  • Biblical backing preferably as you share some scripture passages that back up “opinions” and point people back to the Word.

0:35/0:40-0:55 //Group Dialogue

  • A facilitated discussion that you would help lead.

  • Make space for processing, pushback, testimonies, and community-based learning.

  • This is often the most fruitful part.

0:55-0:60 // Closing

  • Each workshop isn’t just a class — it’s a commissioning space, where leaders are called into deeper alignment with God’s heart and practical steps forward in their calling.

  • We’re going to create a platform for people to stay in touch, share resources, and continue to learn from one another on this topic. Not sure if that will be via through email or WhatsApp yet but you can point people to that.

  • Please share your contact information.

  • Create plan for next steps or point them toward some suggested resources.

  • Close in prayer and encourage everyone to hop into another workshop and let them know another group of people will be coming into that room in the next 20-30 min.
